COLEMAN Crane Rail Pty Ltd is owned and operated by Craig and Vivienne Coleman. Located in the Isaac Region, Central Queensland their office in St Lawrence (South of Mackay & North of Rockhampton) is on the doorstep to the coal industry in Qld. Originally starting their business under Therm A Rail / C & V Coleman Constructions in 1996, which later changed to COLEMAN Rail & Track Solutions Pty Ltd, then growing to Coleman Crane Rail Pty Ltd in 2007.
Having worked in the industry since 1994, Coleman Crane Rail Pty Ltd offers solid reliable experience in rail construction and crane rail construction, for all industry types. Coleman Rail completed approximately 1.2KM of stacker rail welding for a stacker upgrade for Jetz Contracting, these works required timed interaction with live operations on a central Queensland coal mine, the project was completed 3 weeks early and during the 16 week project the mine met and beat its production target records, this impressive goal was achievable through a combined team approach to ensuring production was met during the outage, Coleman rail insured we made each milestone during the project and no re-welds or weld failures were encountered, this was a huge advantage to the install team allowing the impressive scheduled time gain.

Coleman Crane Rail provided excellent rail welding services to BHP Olympic Dam under difficult, tightly scheduled, shutdown conditions in the production critical Copper Refinery. Using the Thermit process to weld very heavy, 100kg/m crane rail, Coleman Crane Rail achieved a 100% first time pass rate upon ultrasonic testing. Having previously provided rail-grinding and rail-welding services to Olympic Dam, Coleman Crane Rail’s flexibility in the constantly changing major shutdown environment, and their clear mastery of the welding process ensured an excellent outcome in this critical part of the Olympic Dam production system.
