Coleman Rail completed approximately 1.2KM of stacker rail welding for a stacker upgrade for Jetz Contracting, these works required timed interaction with live operations on a central Queensland coal mine, the project was completed 3 weeks early and during the 16 week project the mine met and beat its production target records, this impressive goal was achievable through a combined team approach to ensuring production was met during the outage, Coleman rail insured we made each milestone during the project and no re-welds or weld failures were encountered, this was a huge advantage to the install team allowing the impressive scheduled time gain.
Upon final survey the rails maximum tolerance over the 1.2km was within 2mm both vertical and horizontally.
